𝚅𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚕𝚢, 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚕𝚢, 𝙸 𝚜𝚊𝚢 𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝙴𝚡𝚌𝚎𝚙𝚝 𝚊 𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚝 𝚏𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚍𝚒𝚎, 𝚒𝚝 𝚊𝚋𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚝𝚑 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎: 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚒𝚏 𝚒𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚎𝚜, 𝚒𝚝 𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚑 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚑 𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑 𝚏𝚛𝚞𝚒𝚝.

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

The life of a man in this world can be a hindrance to his service towards God. Most times, the reason why we can't serve God and humanity effectively is that our life in this world is too precious to us.

Let me explain: 

Jesus never said we should hate our life on the earth. He said we should hate our "life in the world."

God is not against the life you live, except the life you live is against God. Every life lived loving the world is against God. 

God wants us to enjoy our life, live it to the full measure, be content and be happy. 

However, God does not want us to live or love the life the world offers. Your life in the world is not the life God has called you to live.

God has not called us to be proud, boastful, jealous, covetous, sexually immoral, lustful, envious, or liars. Because that is the life of this world, we must die to it.

You cannot be fruitful in God and hold on to the pleasure of this world. You cannot find the life of this world pleasurable and be a follower of Jesus. You have to lose one to gain the other.

You cannot be righteous and love unrighteousness. 

The only way you can disconnect yourself from loving the pleasures of this world is by death (death is self). 

Walk into today trusting Jesus to rid you of any pleasure of the world that is alive in you, so you can be fruitful in your service to God and following Him to the ends of the earth.
