𝙴𝚙𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚜 𝟷:𝟸𝟹 

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚑, 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚎𝚎, 𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍; 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍 𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚑. 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚑 𝚒𝚜 𝙲𝚑𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝'𝚜 𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢, 𝚒𝚗 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚑 𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚜, 𝚋𝚢 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚌𝚑 𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚜 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎. (𝙼𝚂𝙱)

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

This morning, after reading through our key passage and searching my spirit quietly just looking for what to write, the Holy Spirit asked me a question, He said, "Are you the church or are you the church people." The question didn't look or sound correct so I asked what it meant and He said, The church is the body of Christ, His bride, the one He has reconciled with the Father. The church people are all those who carry a form of godliness but deny the power. Those who try to love the world and serve the Lord, it is those who go to church but are not part of His body.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭.

1 Corinthians 12 made it absolutely clear that the church being the body of Christ is not just about a member or a part of the body, it is about the entire body begin one. Individualism is not permitted in the body of Christ. That is the main reason why Paul asked that we keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. Because the church today is full of people who do not keep the unity of the spirit, we have more church people than we have the church. 

𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔. We cannot remain a people, we must come together as His body, there lie our power and dominion. 

Take some time to read 1 Corinthians 12 and pray that the Holy Spirit reveals what part of the body you are and help you be effective and fruitful as a part. Pray the He takes away envy, competition, or comparison from the body. That as the eye is comfortable with being the eye, you will be comfortable in being whatever he has called you to be. 

We are the redemption the world is waiting for. The world is not waiting for a savior, it is waiting for saviors. The world is not waiting for the manifestation of a son but of sons. The world is not waiting for a part of the body to rise, it is waiting for the whole body (the church) to rise.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡.
