𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

How does it feel to know that the things you want to keep for yourself God wants you to let them go, so He can help you keep them? We all need to understand that in following Jesus we absolutely should have no care or things we are strongly attached to that become more important to us than the work we were sent here to do. I had a taste of this severally and watched how God slowly took things and relationships away from me as soon as I was distracted by them and unwilling to lay them down for Him.

Every sacrifice should be an act of obedience to God else it would not be accepted.

God is more interested in our service of love towards him than anything we do. Obedience to his voice is a sign of our love for him.

Ask yourself this question: What would God place a demand on today that would be hard or impossible for Him to get from you? What can't you lay down for Him?

Your life, work, marriage, relationship, clothes, family, friends, ministry, business... Should never be more important than our work with God. Abraham was willing to lay down his only son Isaac because he believed in God to raise him back up. He believed he would take Isaac up again.

This principle applies to every area of life. You cannot take up a certain level of financial breakthrough until you have laid down your life when it comes to money. You also cannot take up a certain level of family breakthrough until you have also laid down your life to a certain degree when it comes to the family.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?

1. Love everyone beyond what you see.

2. Every time you perceive something or someone is distracting you from fellowship time with God, shut it down.

3. Put God first.

4. Kill reputation. Reputation is one of the things stopping us from laying down our lives.

5. Humbly serve everyone every time.
