CHRONICLES 2

Voice of Eden (episode 2013)
Thur. 4th March 2021

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

Understand that you don't see this every day - the hand of God on a matter - especially because of the world we are living in. Not all of us love Jesus, a lot of us who do love Him would sometimes have things done our way rather than letting God have his way. Some other times, we must have done it our way without knowing, gotten stocked up in a hard place before we finally open up for Jesus to just do it how He pleases.

I say this from a place of experience. So whenever you want to take a step, a decision, make a plan on what you must do, I would advise you to get a pen and a paper and document it.

𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓:

𝟏. 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.
Writing is down can suddenly open your eye to see that this is all you and not God. It can also bring to the point of self-examination.

𝟐. 𝐈𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭.
One of the ways the Holy Spirit helps us remember the Father's voice to us is by instructing us to write it down.

𝑨𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌, 𝑰 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒔, 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒔, 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔, 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆.

𝟑. 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠.
What you document today maybe what would give you the strength to keep believing tomorrow. Moreso,  someone someday can come across what you have written about your steps and suddenly know how to get past where they are.

𝟒. 𝐈𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬.
Chronicling your steps before and after opens your eyes to the truth that something would work and the other won't. It helps you learn what to do differently next time and how best to respond to God next time.

𝟓. 𝐈𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
Writing it down has a way of keeping you from wanting to do it immediately. It has a way of making you wait, a way of making you think it through, and a way of making you act wisely.

What steps have you chronicled this week?
𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬!!!

Shalom
