𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,
Today, it would be my deepest pleasure to share with you one of the greatest lessons the Lord has taught me. I have believed and ran with it for years now, and I have seen it proven to be true.
𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧.
A few years ago, I was in a very tight position and that made me unsure of what I needed to do or the step I needed to take. While I was trying to pray (yeah I said trying because I didn't know what to pray for and didn't think prayer was a good option). Then I was lead to Isaiah 30:15 (which happens to be one of my favorite passages in scripture now), and the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the fact that the reason I didn't know what to do was that I was not quiet. I was praying but my prayer was a part of my noise. 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓.

𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚:
Some of us are always busy doing one thing or another. We are either jumping from one program to another without proper time or a quiet time to go through what we are learning or We are talking, chatting, or always eating something.
The body needs rest
No matter how busy you can be, don't be too busy to give your body rest. We can also spend time to fast just so our body can be light!!!
𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅:
The mind is one of man's greatest productive machine. And it is most productive when at rest.
I was sitting outside lost in my thought on a good day, and a friend said to me, "what are you worried about," I quickly told him, "no I'm not worried about anything, I'm only thinking."
Resting your mind does not always mean you should not think about anything (sometimes it does, especially when the thought is becoming toxic), resting your mind means you should not be worried about anything.
𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅'𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒆.
You cannot think, plan, or produce any good results when you worry.
𝑨𝒏𝒙𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅.
Anxiety is a state of restlessness and agitation, often accompanied by a distressing sense of oppression or tightness in the stomach. You should not allow your mind to be anxious for any reason.
A quiet body and mind are most helpful in achieving your dreams.
In quietness and trust lies a man's strength.
On Thursday will be writing to you about the quietness of the spirit.
Shalom
