Luke 1:3
Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus.

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

The gospel according to Luke, third of the four New Testament Gospels (narratives recounting the life and death of Jesus Christ) and, with The Gospels According to Mark and Matthew, one of the three Synoptic Gospels. It is traditionally credited to Luke, “the beloved physician” (Col. 4:14), a close associate of Paul the Apostle. Luke’s Gospel is clearly written for Gentile converts: it traces Christ’s genealogy, for example, back to Adam, the “father” of the human race rather than to Abraham, the father of the Jewish people.

Despite its similarities to the other Synoptic Gospels, however, Luke’s narrative contains much that is unique.

It gives details of Jesus’ infancy found in no other Gospel: the census of Caesar Augustus, the journey to Bethlehem, Jesus’ birth, the adoration of the shepherds, Jesus’ circumcision, the words of Simeon, and Jesus at age 12 in the temple talking with the doctors of the law. It also is the only Gospel to give an account of the Ascension. I am sure you did not know that until now. Me too

The only reason I took much space to talk about Luke's account is simply that no account should be given without careful investigation.

The truth is, our account would most times be different from another person's. However, we must ensure that we are sincere, credible and that our accounts are valid.

People cannot know about Jesus if we don't give our accounts. We cannot account for Jesus if we are not His witnesses.

What is your account of Jesus like?

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐦?

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭?

I am one of those people who believe that there are unwritten letters in the Bible, and the life we live can be account we give, that may be the only Bible the people around us would ever read.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬?
