𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒

𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆, 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒕, 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕. 𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒉 26:3 (𝑴𝑺𝑩)

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

One of the most confusing place to be in is the place where it looks like nothing seems working, especially the things we believe God had asked us to do. The place where our minds are not fully convinced anymore if this is what we should be doing, because nothing seem to be working. The normal thing to do at such position is to think of an alternative; how else can I make this work or what else can I do that will work just fine? But remember we have not been called to respond to life challenges normally. It is not in our place to think of an alternative to make God's word work.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 (𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬) 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬.

For someone reading this now, an alternative may be your way out of whatever difficulty you may have gotten into. Sit down pray, fix your mind on Jesus and he'll show you an alternative way out.

 

But for yet another person who God has lead into whatever you are doing now (it does not matter how difficult things may look), an alternative is your best way into trouble.

𝐀𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬.

God does not do trial and error. Whatever He leads us into is what we should be doing at the moment. 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈. We can feel like things are terrible and we may not make it or we may feel that this promise has taken to long already. Make sure the feeling does not stop you from doing what Jesus has asked you to do.

I believe I'm writing to someone who wants to leave the place God has called you to because things are not working as you thought and you have a better option (an alternative). God is saying, "Do not make the move."

Abraham gave birth to Ishmael because the promise was taking too long and they had an alternative plan. Joseph also had an alternative but he didn't take it. Do not listen to the voice telling you to try something different from God's instruction to you.
