Mark 8:22-26
𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅,
On my way to work one morning, inside a public transport, I took time to intently observe the Keke right in front of us. My thoughts were, "if something happened suddenly and I was asked to identify the Keke that was ahead of us what would my reply be?" After I did, I discovered every Keke we went past (because the taxi was obviously faster) had something unique that was different from the last. So I did not just see them all as Kekes, because I was intently looking I saw each Keke clearly.

That was the first question Jesus had asked the blind man after putting his hands on him. His answer was Yes I see!! But it didn't stop there.
My friend, the fact we can see is not enough, what we see and how we see is very important. We need to arrive at the place where we see people for who they really are(who God has called them to be). No seeing them as trees or animals but as people who are loved by God.
It is important we see our family clearly, our spouses, our jobs, our children, our neighbors, our friends and so on.
𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞.
Before Jesus laid his hands on the blind man the second time he was no longer blind because he now could see "anything" but not everything. Jesus asked him, "do you see anything?" And he said yes he could see. Some of us are okay with being able to see anything, we are okay as long as we see what's going on, but only a few of us who stay longer under the light by looking intently are able to see everything clearly.
𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.
You will never find clarity if your sight is without a focused and intent sight. If you stay focused on something for a long time, you will find clarity. Do not just look because He asked you to look, look because there is something you want to see.
𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1. Until you arrive at seeing everything clearly, don't make a decision based on anything you see.
2. Never think what you see is all there is, until you arrive at clarity (the place where everything is made known).
3. What you know is not enough, don't lean on it.
4. Do not look because you were asked to, look because there's something you want to see.
Shalom
