EFFECTIVE AND PRODUCTIVE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS

𝐄𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐒

2 Peter 1:5-8

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

Jesus can be known. Beautiful isn't it? I want to kill the notion that He cannot be known. At least He can be known to the level of how much we desire to know Him, and He promises to reveal himself to all who seeks after Him with all their heart. The mystery about this is that we cannot know Jesus enough not to want to know more about Him. His knowledge is limitless.

No matter how much we claim to know about Jesus, unfortunately we can be unproductive or ineffective in the knowledge of Jesus we now have, especially when it is only a head knowledge. It is clear now that we can know Jesus and be unproductive with the knowledge of Him that we have.

There are certain virtues/qualities we are expected to see in the life of anyone who has the knowledge of Jesus and is effective with it. The knowledge of Jesus always produces results, it is effective only if backed up with certain virtues.

Let me ask you a quick question, and I will need you to be entirely honest with yourself.

𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔?

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒅?

𝑾𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒕?

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

It is our duty (through diligent effort) to cultivate qualities that will make every knowledge of Jesus effective in our hands.

For every new and old knowledge of Jesus you have received, take them to prayer today and pray this:

𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞. 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐧
