IT'S NORMAL

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,
You are not the first person something like this is happening to, neither will you be the last. It's normal. Most of our everyday challenges are normal (except for special cases). It does not matter how normal life can be, note that God has not called us to live normal lives.
During the past week I believe God was drawing my heart to the fact that he has not called any of His own to normality. Living a normal life is not what we have been called to. In fact, the day we say yes to Jesus our entire world takes a new turn. I personally think something is wrong with a Christian who has a normal life (same crisis, same fear, no adventure, no walk of faith, no battles to fight, no new heights to climb, no difficulty, no test, and so on)
I believe Jesus said to me that there are certain things that are normal and we need to accept them. However, because we have not been called to live normal lives, our actions must not be normal.
For example it is normal to get offended, to get hurt, to be lied to. It is normal to get insulted, or hated, it's normal to be talked bad about or misunderstood. We must in no way respond normally, and that is a choice we must make because we love Jesus.

The truth is the enemy will never cease to attack or make life hard and miserable for the inhabitants of the earth. If we decide to handle this attacks normally, we would get normal results. Humans are just vessels, we are either vessels unto honor or dishonor. The real enemy or friend is not the vessel but the one who owns and uses the vessel.

It's normal to feel hated
It's normal to feel angry
It's normal to get hurt and disappointed.
It's absolutely normal for things not to always go your way.
It's normally for you to have a bad day.
It's also normal to love and not be loved back.
It's normal to lose a loved one.
The list goes on.
There are a lot of normal things; things common to every human, however as believers, our response to what is normal should not be normal.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥!
While praying this morning I heard the word the "𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥." I actually do not know yet what it fully means, I just believe that whatever we step out deliberately to do that is new and not normal will soon become our new normal.
