MY LOVE FOR JESUS: Who do you love most?

#MY LOVE FOR JESUS

One of my favorite statements is; "Jesus did not lay down His life for us only to stop caring after resurrection." My prayer during the service yesterday was, "Lord help me love you more than I do." It became clearer to me how much love I had enjoyed and still enjoying from the Lord Jesus so far. How much he has forgiven me for, let go for me. How he picked me up and showed me mercy, and how much I have ignored almost all of his love and acted like I am ignorant of them. I immediately took out time during the service to repent.

My friend, I truly cannot begin to tell you of how much Jesus has been good and only loving. However he has not loved me alone, I am confident that he has also been loving to all of us as well.

2 Corinthians 5:14 - _Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live._

Everything we see today (sport, news, music, fame,  people, relationship, family, work, career, money, ministry. etc) is not just seeking our attention, they are ultimately seeking our love. The enemy tries to keep us busy with the ministry, family, work,  and every other thing we get busy with so we can forget the place of the one who loves us.
The love you have for anyone or anything should never come in between your love for Jesus.

Take some time to think about the one thing or many things that has taken most of your time or h
ve taken more of your God time in the past few days, weeks, months or years. It doesn't matter how important it may be, everything will stumble and you will soon become tired and weary  of everything without God.

Note this: Nothing is too important to take more time from you than the time you spend with Jesus.

The moment something else takes your God time away, everything you are fighting or working hard to keep starts falling apart. Our love for Jesus glues everything we have together. Nothing should come before it, everything should come after it!
