MY LOVE FOR JESUS.

Dear friend,

The closer a love relationship gets, the greater the chances of getting intimate. Intimacy becomes the highest level of connecting with whoever you are in a love relationship with. And we all know, or we are expected to know that as Christians, we are not permitted to get intimate with whoever we are not married to. Intimacy should only be between a husband and his wife. The reason I say this is because Jesus does not just require a relationship with us, he desires to have an intimate relationship.

There are five levels of relationships with Jesus, but it is only given unto us to become intimate with Him when we arrive at the fifth level.

1. THE STRANGER : It is true that at some point we were all strangers, not just with Jesus but also with our friends, our brothers, our neighbors, or our pastors. Everyone of us who is a Christian today, and claims to know Jesus, was at some point a stranger, which is the first level of relationship.

2. THE SERVANT: This for me is the next level of every man's relationship with Jesus. After you have believed in Him as the son of God, you are no longer a stranger, you are now saved to save another. 

3. THE FRIEND: 

Jesus said, _"Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you."_ (John 15:15).

What makes you a friend is what you now know 

Revelation turns a servant into a friend.

4. THE SON: Your degree and level of obedience to the voice of God and the revelation you now have is what qualifies you for sonship. It was said unto Jesus, _"this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased."_ 

Sons are known by how well they handle responsibilities. Responsibilities of faith, love, patience, obedience and so on.

5. THE BRIDE: It is only at this level that any man can become intimate with God. Jesus is not coming back for sons, friends, servants or strangers. He is coming back for his bride. 

You become a bride by how much time you spend with Him. Only a bride can become one in spirit with the Father, and that is who He is coming back for. 

Why not develop your relationship with Jesus by spending more time with Him until it becomes an intimate one. He is waiting on us!
