GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN: IF he promises, He'll bring it to pass

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN

Dear friend,

One of my very favorite things about God is that He is faithful. Whenever I feel a promise is taking too long to come through, I find peace in the fact that the one who promised is faithful. If He makes a promise He keeps it. We see this theme over and over again throughout the Bible and each new story is just as amazing as the last. I told you the story of Abrham on Monday, do you remember the story of Daniel in the Lions Den? God was faithful to Daniel whenever He closed the lion’s mouths. What about the time God kept Moses safe as he floated down the Nile River in a basket?

The promise He has kept in the past should strengthen your heart for the one He will keep.

Remind yourself each day that God was faithful then and He is faithful now. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve prayed and God has given me what I needed, not always what I wanted, but He has always given me what I needed. 

What promise has God kept to you? Whenever you are feeling forgotten, sit and remember how He came through for you before. Sometimes you need to tell your story to yourself, just so you know that God has been intentional about you. 

One scripture that always keeps me going is in *Romans 8:28.*

*And we know that all things work together for good to those that love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.* 

Here are a few reason why God cannot forget his promise to you and why he will keep to it:

1. Because He is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

2. Because nothing is impossible with Him. (Matthew 19:26)

3. Because your name is written on his palm. (Isaiah 49:16)

4. Because He said so. (Isaiah 49:15)

5. Because He is God.(Jeremiah 23:27)

God will keep every word spoken concerning you. Stay in faith, keep believing and keep praying.
