DON'T GLUE IT: Do not let the fear of being broken stop you from being open

#DON'T GLUE IT
Dear friend,
I don't think I have ever written any letter to you that I personally cannot relate to or have not experienced at some point in my life. Most often, what I write I've had a share of, or God has that particular thought resting in my heart. The very reason I am saying this is because in as much as I said we should not glue things up, I personally understand that certain time it is so difficult to let things out especially when you cannot put in the right words, or let people in when you don't even know who to trust.
Continuation from Monday...
2. The fear of being broken should not stop you from being open.
We often fear being hurt by simply letting someone in or being hurt by letting something out. Honestly, I understand how that can be, and I'm also learning not be be afraid of being open and transparent.
It is also very important that we carefully choose and most especially be able to discern who to open up to or let into our lives, however, we are prone to make mistakes along the way. We may open up to the wrong people and they will in turn use the words we told them against us or we may let someone in and they will hurt us or even cause more mess than they met. In as much as we have been broken not once or twice or thrice because we opened up to another, we should never glue things up and never be willing to open up again.
God will never hurt you.
We often think God can hurt us, but no he does not. Everything he does is never to "hurt" his own but to "make" his own. We also would agree that the process of making is often not so sweet, infact it is very hurting. Sometimes the path he takes us through is so we can learn to constantly stay open not just to Him but also to one another.
I'll share a podcast we made on this topic much later. Don't miss out! There are some interesting things I believe God has to let you know.
Shalom
