LOVE: It's childish not to Love
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.
Dear friend,
It is childish not to Love
After I woke up early this morning, I took out my phone to send a text to Blossom, just wishing her a happy valentine's day. After I did that, I somehow got to 1 Corinthians 13 and saw for the first time in my life that it is childish not to Love. And since we know that love is kind and patient, not proud and so on...then it simply means it's childish not to be kind and childish not to be patient, it's childish to be proud and envious of another and it's also childish to keep record of wrong done. It's childish to dishonor another, it is childish to be easily angered and also childish to be self seeking...You can't behave like a child and be able to love another, because you can't love and not be kind, neither can you love and be so proud or self seeking.
So my conclusion was that: An evidence of maturity (growth) is being able and willing to Love everyone sincerely. It take a man, not a child to Love. Because Love isn't always convenient, it isn't tested in comfort. In fact love is truly seen after Valentine's day.
Paul took so much time to speak about love, only to get to verse 11 then he said, when I was a child I talked and thought like a child. It tells us that, maturity reflects in how you speak and how you think, and so does Love.
If you love me you'll speak well of me and to me and also think good towards me!!
