_You are God's responsibility 

Keys Scripture: Luke 12:29-30

And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Dear friend, 

For some of us, we think it's insane or better still the full height of laziness not to worry about where the next meal, school fee, rent, cloth or food would come from. But it's okay, because scriptural principles are foolishness to the natural man (1 Corinthians 2:14). No natural man thinks that letting God worry about all that concerns you is wise. As a man they would say, you need to be worried when you don't have food to eat. But all I want to make you see this morning is that you are God's responsibility. One of God's duty is to make sure you are doing good. Jesus said my peace I leave you...let not your heart be troubled (John 14:27). Nothing temporal is expected to cause your heart to trouble; A lost job, failed exam, failed business, failed relationship, low money, no food, no rent - absolutely nothing should cause you to worry. If your heart must be troubled, let it be for an eternal course.

*If God is your father, be His child*

The statement above may look really funny but the truth is, so many of us don't know just how to be a child, especially before God. Again and again God was calling the Israelite into becoming his children but worries, intellect, disobedience and lack of faith wouldn't let them allow him father them. You can be as bold as you want to be, out spoken, have everything all figured out before your family or friends, but before God throw all of that away and just be a child who needs help from a father. Don't try to impress God by thinking you can now handle things without Him. 

If God is your father then let him worry about what you will eat and wear for the rest 359 days of the year. If you got these 6 days worrying about that, quit it now. I'm not saying you should sit at home doing nothing, I'm only saying don't let worry sink in your heart as you go all out in obedience to the voice of God. What you should be concerned about is, how can you establish God's kingdom on your earth (your place of dominion) and What's your part to place?

*If God says, "do not worry", don't worry*

Severally in scripture, Jesus would say, don't worry or don't be afraid, or care about this or that. And on another occasion he said, cast your cares upon me for I care for you (1 Peter 5:7), just in case you say I can't help buy worry about what I care about, he's saying give that to me too and go to sleep.

Only God knows the best way to be a father and it breaks his heart when we make him look like a bad father by getting hurt simply because we won't just be a child and let him father you. Listen friend, don't take responsibility for your life please,  you can't do so much, let God worry about all that concerns your life. You are his responsibility. He didn't send you here to leave you all alone. Last night while I was wake singing and dancing,  he said _"son all those days you turned your back on me at the face of a temptation I never left you. I have promised never to leave nor forsake you, and I can't break my promise."_
