Paid For 1

*What exactly do you know about .....?*

I believe one of our greatest problem is that we think we know more than we actually do. We think the little we know is all there is to know about a subject matter, so we don't push to know any more. We are quickly uninterested if someone is speaking or teaching on a subject we "already know".

Too many people know that they have been redeemed from sin, but find it hard to walk away from the face of sin. So my question again, what exactly do you know? Because you can not rise above what you know. So the fact you haven't defected the sin means there's something you don't know that you think you know. Probably you are thinking, why am I talking about knowing? Let me explain. In our key scripture, Peter's first words are "knowing that you have been ransomed". It all starts with a knowing. Knowing that you have a house should keep you from sleeping under the rain, knowing that you have a shoe should keep you from walking on your bear feet, knowing that you have been ransomed should keep you from being a slave to sin.

*I said "should" not "will". Because even though we know sometimes we don't fully know, so we still act as though we don't know*

So the very reason why so many are still slaves to sin is because they don't know about the redemption fee. They rest who knows don't know enough... So despite the fact that we know we have been ransomed, a good number of us still struggle with sin.

*Until the truth you know sets you free you haven't fully known it*

Every truth on the earth today came from God. In other words, every true invention or discovery done by a man to make life easy and set us free then old was from God. For example: Phones, clean water, good and fast transport systems, light bulb, computers etc. But if these men didn't find out the truth, their discovery would not have been able to set man free from the old.

*All I'm saying is, knowing just a part of it is not enough to set you free, knowing the whole truth is.* You'll have to keep reading it, thinking it and praying it until you see it physically manifesting in your life. *Head knowledge is not enough knowledge, heart knowledge is.* Until it rests in your heart it can't set you free.

God sent His son for you... OK, and then what? Knowing that Jesus paid in full for your sins is not all the knowledge you need (but we know that it's the first you need to triumph over sin). Don't you want to know more about His death, burial and resurrection? Don't you want to know everything about it? Don't you want to become all there is to be by the reason of His death, burial and resurrection? For me I do

*So what do I need to know?*

1. What were you ransomed from?
2. What was the ransom?
3. Who ransomed you?
4. What's the value of the ransom?
5. Why were you ransom?
6. Have you accepted that gift?

These are just a few questions you should ask yourself and be sincere with yourself. *Sincerity is a platform where truth thrive.*

*If it has been paid for, it's now yours for the taking*

Jesus didn't just pay for your sins, He paid for your life. Everything that concerns you was paid for. He paid the price to get you back into the God family. The price paid for everything...your sin, victory, redemption, adoption, success... Just name it!

It's a full package!!!

Keep growing
