Continuation...
Dear friend,
_don't marry a girl with her veil on. Remove it!
I made you understand last time how the church still has her veil on, not because the groom isn't willing to take off the veil, but because the bride isn't willing to be unveiled and how the veil is made and place by the church herself. The groom (which is Christ) can't be joined to a bride (which is the Church) who has her veil on.
Don't marry a woman with her veil on. There are two implications to this.
*First* :This was the mistake Jacob made and it cost him extra seven years of service to finally get married to the woman he loved. The veil was removed after he had been joined to her and even carried her home as his wife.
*Secondly* : Don't marry someone you do not know. The veil is a covering, it covers both the beautiful and the ugly. And there are so much people cover up this days. I sincerely believe that before you make any commitments, you should have uncovered all that you need to uncover.
*Don't unveil what you are not ready to be committed to. Don't unveil what you are not ready to take responsibility for.*
Behind the veil lies not just beauty but commitments. You have an idea, a dream, a vision that needs to be unveil? Don't be in a hurry to unveil it until you are fully ready to be committed to it. Unveiling that dream makes you responsible for it, both the ugliness and the beauty. *Every man is committed and responsible for the woman he unveiled as wife!*
*The unveiling process*
Only in Christ is the veil truly removed. The beautiful thing about this is, the veil is not removed with Christ or for Christ, it is removed in Christ. Let me explain; the Bible talks about anyone who is in Christ, (not for or with) is a new creation. In other words the process of being a new creation is not a gradual process but an instant process. So the unveiling comes as a result of being in Christ Jesus. The veil is taken off you as soon as you are in Christ. The veil is removed instantly. Any other pain, shame, guilt, self righteousness (veil) you suffer is either self inflicted or because of your ignorance.
*Turn to God.*
The day man fell in the garden, he looked for a veil to cover his nakedness. The way this veil can be taken off is through repentance. You may have fallen, turn to God! You may have broken the hedge, turn to God! You may have left the place of your assignment, turn to God! The moment you do, instantly, the veil of shame, pain, guilt... is taken off!
*Unveiled face!*
I'll close with this. We have always known this scripture, _"and as we all reflect the Lord's glory we are transformed into his likeness... "_ but we fail to see that it actually says, _" AND WE WHO WITH UNVEILED FACES all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed... "_
No transformation can happen when the veil is still on! That's why the church must let Jesus take the veil of self righteousness, doctrines, segregation off her face, for except that the church is not different from the world. No transformation will ever happen. The veil covers the glory!
Except the veil is taken off, our minds remains dull (verse 14). According to Romans transformation takes place first in the mind! Let Him take off the veil from your head and heart especially!
