Dear friend,
_what kind of man are you on the inside?

Key scripture :2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

I am not so interested about the outer man as I am about the inner man, but we all know the outer man matters too. Just like a house and what it carries. But the house is only important because of who lives in it. So the house doesn't really have an identity of its own but the one gotten from the person who lives in it. So we hear name like John's residence, Peter's house, White House...simply because someone lives in it. Peter may not own the house but for the fact that he lives there, it carries his name.

Who dwells in you?

The devil doesn't own you, but the fact that he finds expression through you may seem as though he does. He can not own you if he didn't create you. Several weeks ago we had a talk about my dwelling place, today the question is not where you dwell but who's dwelling place you are.  Who are you carrying, not on your back but in your body. Who do you carry around everywhere?

The spirit of man needs the body of man here on the earth alone to find expression but so many are not giving the spirit any expression at all. You must understand that man is a spiritual being, and the more spiritually minded you are the better for you. Don't waste so much time investing on the body and less on the spirit

Man's spirit is God's breath

Everyman living today carries God's breath inside of him/her. It doesn't matter how evil the person is or if the person is not even a Christian, the fact you are living simply tells me you have God's breath in you. That part of God dwells in every human on earth.

But I need us to clearly understand that man's spirit is different from God's Spirit. In the new birth, according to 1 Corinthians, there is a change of spirit. That's the only way a man can be new; when man's spirit is exchange with God's spirit

Therefore, after new birth you need to learn how to let God's spirit, now residence in you find expression...that is renewal. That's the only way your body can then begin to glorify God. Your body doesn't have a mind of its own, it was made to take instructions and act on it...so the easiest way to subdue a man is not to tie him up but to take over the inner man.

Guard your heart

It is understood whenever the Bible mentioned heart it often refers to the spirit. Whatever doesn't get to your spirit isn't real to you and can't affect or change you. The enemy is not after your body, or your wealth, or happiness or studies. The only reason he goes after these things is so you can leave the door to your heart open and unguided and then he attackes the inner man..... Guard it!!
Guard your heart!!!
