Dear friend,
_Dont give less time to more important things.

Key scripture : John 21:15
_When they had finished eating Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John do you truly love me more than these?

God odoesn't just love the world, He loved it so much. So he expects nothing less than more from us. Peter do you love me more...?

There is always something more important than these, something we are expected to love more because it's more important. God expects we give more for more not less for more. If it is more important we need to give more of everything - time, love, attention, affection etc. Don't give less for more important things. The reason why it seems as though we are not being effective in an area is simply because we have divided our little time and energy doing so much of the not important

Everything we do are either:

•Important

•Not important

•More important

What determines it's place of importance is us; how much time, love, attention or affection we are willing to give to it? If we are really sincere with us, we'll discover that what takes more of our time most times are the not important things ( for example chatting, TV, movies, games, shopping, new cars, cloths etc). If I give more time to the Not important, I suddenly make it Most important, even though it is not important. There are some things in life that are important and some are more important and also a whole lot of things that are not important. Think about what you do that counts and give more attention to it.

One way we can clearly see the extent of our importance in God is in looking at how much he was willing to give up for us.

_If we find out that we are giving less to something more important, then it simply means something not important is taking more from us. We always have enough just for what is important. Don't give some to what's not important. Do the first things first and second things not at all

How do I know the things that are more important?

Ask yourself three questions...

1. What are my highest value activities?: What are the biggest things that I have to do that will make the greatest contribution to my family, school, organization, life, society etc.

2. What can I and only I do that if done well will make a real difference?: In other words, What is my role? What is my part to play?

3. What must I do or else face serious consequences?: That is to say, what is my purpose, my assignment?

4. What am I doing that is keeping me from doing the above?: What wouldn't I do just to make sure I do what must be done?
