𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,
Being able to remember is a good gift from God, so also is being able to forget. We all just need to learn where and how to use it. How have we been able to use this gift to make us better and bless others around us? God does not expect us to remember certain things because they are not important and most especially not good for our growth.

The first place to let go or not to let go is in our minds (our souls). We cannot give money, cloth, forgiveness, love, or ourselves if we do not first settle it in our minds. Decide on your inside go forgive you can let it go. Decide to love then you can love irrespective of what was done to you.

Sometimes when I try to think about the many wrongs I have done, I ask myself, " so God doesn't remember that I did this thing because I confessed and received His forgiveness?" YES, HE DOES NOT!!!

1. First decide in your heart to forget about it. Be willing to forgive.
2. Pray that the spirit of God helps you out. Scripture said he would only bring to our remembrance of what Jesus has taught you. So He can help us forget what Jesus didn't teach us.
3. Take charge of your mind. Think only healthy thoughts. You have the right to think about what you want to think about.
4. Study and meditate on God's word. His word renews the mind.
5. Talk to someone about it. Tell someone what you have done, it would help you forgive yourself. On the other hand, If talking to the person who caused you pain or hurt would not cause more problems, then also go ahead to let them know.
