THE SPIRIT 2

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆. Yesterday I had a conversation with a friend and with just one video, everything changed for me. My mind was renewed and I was able to dream again. My eyes were open to the vast possibility in the earth if only I can dare to believe. It became clear to me why the Lord dropped Zachariah 4:6 in my spirit just before the beginning of the month.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭.

Too many times we think we can do things by ourselves, but fail to understand that anything we can do without God is not of God but us. This takes me back to a story I heard a long time ago, and the man said, "if you can accomplish your dream alone without the Holy Spirit then your dream is too small.

Yesterday, something I have been praying for with a friend finally came through, and it came with God's handwriting written all over it!!! It was a miracle, after weeks of prayer and trusting God for a miracle. 

𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒎𝒚 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅, 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒚 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆!!! You too can dream again. 

I spent the whole of last night in repentance. I could not even lay in bed, I had to sleep on the floor just because I was sorry for disbelieving Jesus. Today I dream again!! 

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬.

The Holy Spirit can not be identified by physical senses only. You can't see him or touch him in the physical, it has to be in the spirit. He is not the only spirit that there is, that's the very reason why we must know Him personally so that we can be lead only by Him. 

If you must exercise the spirit man you must:

1. Give yourself to praying always, to the study of God's word, and fasting. These three are irreplaceable for any believer who must be sensitive to the Spirit of God. 

2. Learn to not just hear God's voice but harken to it. Do not be hears alone but doers of every instruction and leading of the Spirit. Be responsive. Your blessing doesn't lie in your ability to hear but your ability to harken. 

3. Be quick to test every spirit and be sure this is of God before you act on its leading. Never respond to every voice you hear on the inside. Not all spirits are of God. You cannot test a spirit without having a tester (God's word), that is why you must be full of the Word of God. Jesus when He was tempted was able to identify that this spirit wasn't of God because He knew the word and what it said.

4. Be open to counsel. Scripture said in the multitude of counsel there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). However, not every counsel brings safety. It is also very important we identify who we receive counsel from. Do not also forget that every counsel should be tested in light of God's word.
