IT IS ABOUT TO END

𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐄𝐍𝐃.

 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,

The subject I decided to write to you about may sound like a piece of bad news if you have something good going for you (something you love and never wish for it to end), but good news if you have something bad going for you (and cannot wait to see it end). However, whether good or bad, they are all about to end. Do you realize there are only two eternal things on earth today? Everything else will ultimately end —everything else, and it is only a matter of time. It kind of sets our priorities straight, doesn't it?

I was up last night thinking about something I love and have been after for a while now, and I know I heard the Spirit said, "it is not eternal. No matter how badly you want to have it today, someday it will all come to an end." Those words alone made me rethink immediately. 

What have you been running after that is not eternal? The stuff we place on the shelf, the things we put framed around, the fame, the trophies and whatnots we dust and shine and love to display, the things we're so proud of—it's all going to end.

𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

Even as a minister of God, if the ministry is what you are after and not the Father's heart, at the end of the ministry you will find out how much time you have wasted. The ministry will end no matter how much you don't believe what I am saying right now. 

𝐖𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝.

If we don't set our priorities right today and put an end to our pursuit of certain things that we love (things without eternal value). We will ultimately arrive at the point where it all comes to an end. At such a point, it is impossible to end what has arrived at its end. We would only live with regrets of what we should have spent our lives doing.

This morning, since 2020 is about ending, notwithstanding how bad or good the year may have been for you, reading this means you are about to make it to the end. Sit, and think about the things you have been after throughout the year. Are they worth it???
