𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝,
No matter how much we pray and desire not to go through certain things, there are some things intentionally placed there by God to help us become everything we were called to be. 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒘𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐. If we cannot tell where we are going, it would be impossible for us to tell why we are on the path we find ourselves today.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦?
It is okay to always remind yourself where you are from and what you used to look like, so that you can understand that the reason why you aren't there anymore is because you are on a journey to somewhere better. If where you are going is not better than where you were, please go back!
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐰?
One question we often run away from is, _"where are you now?"_ Or _"what are you doing now?"_ This is simply because, whenever it does not look like we are making notable progress or making any progress at all we get deeply disappointed.
If you are where God has called you to be and you are journeying with Him, that is progress, regardless of what anybody thinks.
𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐲.
Knowing where you are now is not as important as knowing where you are going. It is possible that you can get so overwhelmed with where you are that you lose sight of where you are going. Moses, Joseph, David, or even Jesus would have gotten deeply overwhelmed with their paths and lost sight of the end (the aim of the journey).
I believe if God opens our eyes to see the end of the seemingly difficult path He is taking us through, we would not spend any minute of your journey time mourning. For the joy ahead we can choose to endure the present pain.
Whatever path you are on, keep going through it. Never get so comfortable or familiar on a path and decide not to keep moving forward. It does not matter how beautiful or difficult the path may be, keep going through it.
𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1. Never start a journey without God.
2. Only God can take us through a difficult path and bring us out better.
3. You become the product of your journeys.
