John 14:1-5
Dear friend,
Not so many of us know that we cannot trust God with a troubled heart. This morning the Holy Spirit said a number of things to me that actually got me laughing. Just know this: We can choose to trust in God instead of letting our hearts be troubled. Our heart is ours to guard, whatever we let happen to it happens to it. It's that simple, just that, it is actually not so simple to guard it. God's word is the best guard for every heart!
If you are looking for the best guard for your heart, get the word of God. Just surround your heart with his word.

Jesus first tackled the issue of the heart before he spoke about his journey to prepare a place. Don't ever embark on a journey when your heart is troubled. If you must go, you must settle the issue of the heart, then trust, because trust comes from a place of peace.
The journey through Jesus is actually a journey of self discovery. We cannot know who we are and where we are meant to be (our place) except we journey through the way (which is Jesus).
John 14:3 (Jesus speaking)
"𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒈𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝑾𝑰𝑻𝑯 𝒎𝒆, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝑾𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬 𝑰 𝒂𝒎."
This is how the Holy Spirit explained that passage to me. He said, the reason why Jesus is always 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 you, is so He can get you from 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 you are to 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 He is.
𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬!Whatever "this" is for you, let Jesus lead and he'll take you out of it in his time.
When we spend time WITH Him, it's only a matter of time before we arrive at WHERE he is. Do not strive to get to the place prepared without spending time with Him (the one who prepared the place.)
