FAITH TO REFUSE

𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐄

Heb 11:24-27

Dear friend,

The life and journey of every human is literally surrounded by acts of faith, but not everyone of us actually knows that. We do not know that it takes faith to do even the little things we are able to do.

Until the fear of sleeping and not waking up comes, we may never see that It takes faith for us to sleep believing that we will be up the next day, It takes faith for us to leave the house and believe that we will be back home. It takes faith to enter into a relationship and believe this one will work out after what looks like setbacks.

𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒏'𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.

I believe everyone can walk by faith, but we choose not to when we allow fear to rule our lives. However, the major problem is not fear but where, who or what our faith is on.

𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆.

If we believe in the word of God, faith is simply applying that word into every part of our everyday lives. If you know the word and preach the word, I can tell if you have faith in the word by looking at your life. If you also believe you would wake up this morning, going to bed last night was by faith. If you believe in a better Nigeria, faith is doing what you believe to make Nigeria better.

𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆, 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏.

Scripture said, by faith Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daugheter. Refusing is not keeping quiet, it is speaking out and acting it out. We must learn by God's grace to refuse everything that is against what we believe in (Titus 2:11)

I have heard and seen people who out of fear received what they should have refused and refused what they should have received.

Note that sometimes we receive a thing not because we had faith, but because we had fear. We also often refuse not because we are afraid but because we are full of faith.

What do you believe in?

Are you afraid of refusing everything that is against what you believe in?

Step out and walk by faith! By faith, refuse everything that is against what you believe.
