#TESTED
_Don't make use of what you haven't tested
Key scripture: Ps.66.10 - For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.
Dear friend,
The temptation and the trial grow on thesame soil. However, we must be fully confident in the fact that anytime/everytime God thinks about us, His thoughts are good. No matter how terrible we failed the test or how well we passed it, every time he thinks of you, He thinks good of you. So trust him when you go through trials and never think bad about Him. Never think he is thinking bad of you that is why bad things are happening to you. Can we all just be confident in knowing that He loves us too much to think bad about us? I think we can.
The test and the temptation often leave in thesame street.
Today I woke with Matthew 13:25-30 in my heart. For some reasons we believe certain things should not happen to certain people. we ask questions like why is this happening to me? Why will God let this happen to them?
We forget that we can never be who God wants us to be without difficulties.
We have failed to understand that the test and the temptation grow on the same soil.
God cannot take away the temptation or the difficult time because, within the temptation is also the test you need to become a better person. Jesus promises to always make a way out of every temptation and not to take the temptation away.
God does not test us in area He has not taught us anything about. If He teaches you about financial management, get ready to be tested, if he teaches you about love, get ready for your love to be tested, if he teaches you about patience, get ready to be tested.
Never forget that every temptation is the devil trying to make us miss out from God's opportunity to lead us to success.
The devil does not have the power to think about a new temptations or tempt us with something different. He only tempts us with what we have been Told, Taught or what you Desire. So it is possible that as you advance in your walk with God, so does the temptation.
According to the scripture reading in Matthew 13:25-30, the enemy planted weeds in a land where there are seeds. In other words, he would always try to obstruct what God is about to do in our lives by tempting us to yield to his idea, but never forget there is always a way out of every temptation.
Friends, in the test to say No, lies the temptation to say Yes.
In the test to be patient, lies the temptation to be impatient.
In the test to love, lies the temptation to hate.
In the test to forgive, lies the temptation not to forgive.
In the test to be selfless, lies the temptation to be selfish.
In the test to remain, lies the temptation to leave.
In the test to be faithful, lies the temptation to be unfaithful.
In the test to let go, lies the temptation to hold on.
In the test to speak good, lies the temptation to speak bad...
God can never test you to do evil eg to be impatient, speak bad or hate someone. He would only test us to love, be patient, be kind and so on.
Jesus would not use a vessel globally that He has not tested secretly.
Do not run away from your hard times or try to weed out the weeds, you may never learn the lesson if you skip the class for fear of failing. The test and the temptation often grow on the same soil. I hope you never forget that!!
