_You too can be successful

Key scripture: Joshua 1.8  ...but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Dear friend,

Every one of us have been called to do something unique for the betterment of not just us both those around us. At the start of the year 2020, I believe God said to me, "what you have is not for you alone but also for the people around you." It is no news that we have to contribute our quarter to humanity, but it has to be what you have been assigned to do. That's the only way you and I can succeed. Doing well in everything does not make you a success, but doing well in what you have been called to do makes you a success. What is that thing you are known for??

If you must succeed, you must have courage.

Courage is not what brings success, it's what brings down the fear of failure. 

You see my friend, people who are without courage never try because of several reasons like; what if it does not work out? or what if I fail? or what if it isn't what I am supposed to do? Just to mention a few. 

God said to Joshua, be strong and courageous. Two things you need to succeed: strength and courage.

Strength keeps you going even when you are exhausted. It helps you fight, because the only way you can succeed is if you keep going and fighting forward. With consistence you will succeed, and you must be strong to be consistent.

Courage helps you face anything. While strength keeps you going and fighting, courage helps you confront anything you may have to meet on your way to success. Trust me on this one, you will meet a whole lot, things you are even afraid of, and if you do not have the courage to face them, you will never face them even if you had the strength to bring them down.

David succeeded in killing Goliath not because he had so much strength, but because he had the courage to face him. We have failed so many times without even trying because we lacked the courage to face the fight.

3. If you must succeed, you must stick to the plan.

God has a plan that leads to every man's success. Know the plan he has for you, write it down and stick to it. It is very possible to forget the plan. We most likely leave the plan, creating our own or going without a plan. But if we must succeed just like God would have us do, then we must stick to His perfect plan.

In the place of prayer you know his plan and stick to it. You also get the strength and courage you need to succeed.
