#LESSON FOUR
Dear friend,
For everything you go through there is always something good in it for you to take out of it (especially if you love the Lord). It does not matter if it is a bad or a good experience, God always has something good for us to take out of every experience. Few weeks ago I started sharing some lessons I believe Jesus is teaching me to live by, and I personally want to thank you if you have taken out a little time to read through any of those lessons. If it has blessed you, kindly drop a message saying how it has been a blessing to you.
There is no one who will go through or has gone through this life without facing a difficult time. The fact it is happening to you now does not mean God is mad at you. If on the other hand it chooses to happen later, it does not mean you are unfortunate. Jesus is a master at taking what did not work out; the failed relationship, lost job, broken home, or maybe the lose of a loved one (like in my case), and making something beautiful from it.
So that leads me to my finally lesson with you:
LESSON FOUR
4. Let your mess be your message.
None of us would like our mess to be out there. We do not want people to know what mess happened or what mess is happening. Everyone would prefer to keep things out of the public, and certainly not what would make you vulnerable, but if your mess must become your message you must let it (permit it).
When you allow yourself to be vulnerable, you are showing a strength not a weakness, and people see that and they will thank you for that.
Learn to use the pain, divorce, lose of a loved one, cancer story, failed job, failed marriage, failed exam, failed business, the set back, the hardship...use them as a weapon to help others. Tell your story.
You do not drown because of what you go through, you drown because of what goes through you. The pain, failure and lose is not the tragedy, but not understanding why that was in your path is the tragedy.
Tell your story in a different way, from a place of understanding. Use it as a message to help others know they too can go through that without drowning.
