I will stand upon my watch,  and set me up on the tower; and will watch to see what he will say to me...

Dear friend, 

So the year we have all waited

 for is finally here and counting. The celebrations are almost over, we are now faced with the reality, we must now stand to our responsibilities because what we do from now will set the pace for the next 365 days. So how do you intend on starting the year? What do you plan on doing this year? You know you can't know what to do if you don't understand what time we are in. I told a friend it will be a waste of time and also dangerous to do anything in this year by drafting out a plan or trying to be strategic without a word from the Lord. Simply because it's the Lord's year. I really don't know how you have planed on going through this year, but it won't be like the last. God is the one piloting this year and we have to be always attentive to hear what He requires that we do.

This is one year that resolution will not be as effective as revelation. It's not about what you resolve to do or be but what He reveals to do. It's important that we all stand up and station ourselves at the tower, because it is only at that position and place that he can reveal his heart to us. In everything you want to do look out to see what he will say. His word this year will never be an opinion but an instruction. 

*Nothing should keep you down this year*

The feeling that I am not qualified, or God is still working on me, or I am not good enough shouldn't stop you from standing up. This year above any other is a time for you to be strong, don't let the enemy feed you with lies just to keep you from obeying the Lord. Within the obedience lies the strength you need.

Nobody should talk you down either. It's time to excuse all those friends that keep putting you down, because if you are not "standing" at your watch then you can't know what he's saying. And if you don't know what he's saying then you can't do what he requires of you.

*You can't be ready and not standing*

I personally don't think this year is for weakling. Sorry to say that, but the truth is; for the whole part of the year we'll all be expected to be in a stand up position. We have to be always ready to go as soon as He gives the word. God will be doing great and mighty thing this year in his power, but He'll do them through us. 

*Be ready to run*

Stand at your watch not against the enemy, but just paying attention to what God has to say. This year don't give any credit to the enemy, don't give him your attention to hear what he has to say. Give the Lord God all of your attention. If there is one thing you'll do to the enemy this year is to ignore him. Ignore every person the enemy will be using to get to you and just do what God has said regardless of how you feel. If you must run well you'll have to avoid any distraction.
