#Whose Child Is This_2?
_Every child is born.
Key passage: Matthew 1:18
This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
Dear friend,
The very reason I decided to write to you about children is simply because, the one who came to redeem the world back to God came not just as man but first as a child; cried, was fed, was hungry, played and did everything a child would do. So I wondered why was it so necessary for him to be a child? What's so special about being a child? And now He doesn't just understand what it is to be a man but a child as well. He wasn't just a child at birth but through out His entire life he was obedient, humble, without worry of what to eat or wear, or where to sleep. He was selfless, open, submitted, without a done will of his own. At some point he said to his disciples you must be like this little children else no kingdom for you.
You know believers would rather you call them sons of God not children of God, and I totally understand. But do you also know that in as much as God requires that we grow into sonship He demand that we remain His children. A son is still a child no matter how grown he gets. Paul talks about being childlike not childish. Being childish is in the mind (thought); being childlike is in the heart. God wants us to always have the heart of a child; broken, open, humble...
*God's Children are His responsibility*
If you are God's child, you are covered by heaven's provisions. I told a friend you don't have a business worrying about anything, especially what you are worrying about because you have a Father, let him worry about it, you just go to sleep. *Every child is the Father's responsibility (and the mother's too).* You cannot kill worry until you get an understanding of the mystery behind fatherhood. Ask a father and you will know that it's an insult to him for his little child to worry about paying the light bills, what to eat, what to wear or about anything at all.
There are certain privileges you immediately stop receiving the moment you stop being a child. Listen friends, you cannot take care of yourself, no matter how grown you think you are. We all need God to father us. There is an open call to let him in so he can not just be your God, shepherd or pastor but your Father.
*Whose child are you?*
If you see a child without a father or a mother, you can tell. A number of persons today may have lost their earthly parents, so many may have parents who do not care, parents who do not live together any more. Some others may have single parents or are born out of a painful experience, but no matter what your situation is, you do not have to be without a Father. There is a provision for you in Christ Jesus.
I cannot possibly begin to mention the things that follow you because you are God's child. He doesn't let his own beg for bread, He doesn't let his own to be put to shame, He strengthens, blesses, favours, upholds, multiples, exempts, separates, lightens, brightens, directs, guides, protects, provides, cloths and fights for His own. His name is at stake everything you step out, so He'll do everything to keep you!
*Children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward* Psalm 127:3
Finally, I am writing this last paragraph for people believing God for the fruit of the womb. You must first understand that children are His inheritance, His property...He owns them not you. So if He gives them to you, you must give them back to Him (Ask Abraham). They belong to God, you are just a custodian to not just your biological children but to every child the Lord brings into your path.
Understand this truth and then God himself will reward you with a child!!! Expect one soon!! Congratulations
