The End

     #The End
_whatever has a beginning has an end.

Key Scripture: Proverbs 23:18 KJV
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Dear friend,

Isn't it amazing that I wrote to you on the first day of the year 2019, and now I'm also having to write to you at the end of it?(I expected it and my expectation was not cut short). Isn't it beautiful that you traveled the journey of 2019 and right now you are close to the finish line? - Wasn't that your expectation? Isn't it a blessing that you slept and woke up every single day for 365 days? Isn't it lovely that you didn't just start the year but you are about to finish it? That alone is an expectation that wasn't cut short. Scripture taught us that better is the end of anything than the beginning thereof. Simply because not everyone at the beginning makes it to the end, even thought most of us expect to. Not every marriage sticks together unto the end, not every business last unto the end, not every friendship stays to the end...if you can hold on to what you have to the end despite the urge to let go, then you are blessed. Because the enemy earnestly wants to steal whatever you have. But it would be foolish for you to start a thing and not want to see it to the end.

On the journey to this end things got hard, you lost friends, loved ones, businesses, money, time, relationships, there were days we even didn't know were the next meal would come from, you woke up and just left the house not sure what the children would eat, a whole lot went down but here you are today. Everything you lost didn't stop you from moving, everything you expected that you haven't received yet didn't make you quit. You fought, believed, prayed, persisted, endured, failed, cried, mourned, celebrated...but you moved on.

*Count your steps and see how far you have come*

It's a long walk through 2019, celebrate how far you have come. God has been so good, I have walked the walk, I met new people who has blessed me and has aided my journey for the most part of 2019. I also followed and unfollowed  some people on Twitter and Instagram...hmm

*I just want you to be able to count your blessings not your losses so you can clearly see what God has done.*

The next time I'll be writing to you, we would be in a beginning of a new year, simply because the end of a thing only marks the beginning of another. With joy we would celebrate our victory over 2019.

*If you are here and reading this then it means your expectation wasn't cut short. Thank Jesus !!!
