     #Move On
_ what's holding you back?

Key passage: 1King 19:21
So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

Dear friend,

What has prevented you from moving on? What do you see everytime you look back that makes it hard for you to move forward? You can't move on with your face faced backwards. God didn't put your best life behind you, so He expects you to keeping moving forward because that's were His best is. You should not blame anybody for where you are now, moving is a choice and what direction to take is always a choice, But God only leads us forward in the right direction. Anything reminding you of the past and trying to keep you there can't be God. He is always calling us into the future, into what lies ahead.

*Your legs can't move except your mind does*

I found out that certain things keeps us in a place, others pull us backwards and the rest keeps us moving forward. And all of these happens in the mind. Our movement all depends on which one we choose to believe by holding on to. Elisha held on to what kept him in a place for years, until he found a course that would take him forward. Today I see a lot of us holding on to the exact friendship that is pulling us back because we don't want to hurt our friends or the exact job that has kept us in a place for years because we have a family to feed. We give yourselves reasons to remain in a place, so our legs can't move because our minds has a reason to stay put.

*Don't hold on to whatever stops you from moving on*

I'll always say not all movements are forward, but only forward movements are progress. You'll be a amazed to find out that the major thing keeping a lot of us from moving on are the thoughts in our heads. The thought of; what if I fail? Things may still work out between us, if I leave where will I go to? What will people say? The thought of how badly you were hurt or how you were cheated, or maybe unforgivness. It's okay to be afraid, but don't let it keep you down. If God says move, move! God is waiting on most of us to just take a step of faith and He do the rest.

I want you to take out sometime and make a list of whatever is keeping you from obeying God and moving on into your best life, and let them all go. Walk away from the frustration, the pain, the comfort, the usual, the relationship, the anger, walk away from less into more. Don't be afraid to try new things. Find out what is out there. If God says move on, move on! If that relationship didn't work, move on! If the job frustrates you, move on! If you were lied to, move on! If you lost a loved one, move on! If you failed, move on! If you are afraid, move one!  Just Keep moving.

*What are you moving on to?*

A good number of people say, "I'm moving on" without any idea what they are moving on to. They only have a picture of what they want but not what God wants, so they choose to remain in the farm (because it's safe) rather than go out with God. Be ever ready to trade what you have for you for what God has for you. Don't move on to (settle for) less simply because you think you'll never get more.

It's important you close every path leading backward as you move into God's plan for you.
