_ not all grounds are rich
Key scripture: Matthew 13:46
...Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Dear friend,
I'm taking out so much time today to make this post on investment (and please read through), not because I don't want to sound so spiritual, or because I only want to talk to business people. No! In fact I just found out that investing is a principle in the kingdom. Jesus said the "Kingdom of God" is like a man who when he found one (not two or a million) pearl of great price, went and sold all he had and bought it. Let me remind you that the pearl of great price that he sold all to get is you!
*Heaven has invested so much in you*
Some time back, someone I consider to be a father met me and said, _Heaven has invested all of its resources in you, so you can't fail._ I really didn't understand the gravity of what he said until this morning. It is a risk, and all business fellows know that for you to have a growing business you must be willing to take risks. I mean it's a risk for heaven to invest all its resource in a man!! Not to talk of a very stubborn man like me. And I'm serious!
*God is an investor*
Jesus told another story of a master who when traveling gave talents to his servants... Amazingly, the master didn't tell them it was an investment, he didn't tell them he would be expecting something back when he returns, he expected them to know that every time, money, opportunity, talent and skill I have given you would be accounted for. It should not remain the same way he gave you before he left (at least we saw that from the last servant who got one talent), just as He has invested it in you, invest it too, make it work, put it to work.
Every time you make use of what you have to bless another person, you just invested in that person. Your gift isn't for you alone, neither is your money, time, or skill. It should be invested in others!!
*Not every ground is fertile*
Some of these lessons we learnt the hard way. Not every ground should be sown on, simply because not every ground can/would keep your seed. You may ask, so how will I know a fertile ground?
There isn't any specific way to know that, or to know what is of great value. Because they may not often look physically fertile or valuable.
In investing you must understand that sometimes we lose. I have invested time, money and energy in people and got the worst shock of my life. But every investment should be done by faith. Believing that the next place you invest would be the right place. Heaven knew that not everyone they invest in would yield great result, but they still chose to invest anyways. Never lose hope on people simply because you have invested time and energy with someone before and was greatly disappointed. Don't stop investing simply because you have trusted someone before and they person turned his/her back on you. Don't stop investing money, time or energy in the church because you have been hurt by a pastor before or because you think they pastors are they ones eating your money. *Your investment is linked to how much was invested in you*
*Invest in things of great value*
Some of you would need to read this twice. Because your value system has been altered. They things you tag as valuable are not eternal and will only end here. All I'm saying is, don't just have business investments; have eternal investments.
*What you desire can be gotten if you are willing to invest what you have wisely*
I have had some time to think about this and I advice you do same. *All you desire lies within all you have.* Stop complaining that your home is on fire when you spend so much time outside the home, that home will soon burn to ashes if you don't spend time in it. It may be hard, but come back home to the fire, that's how you quench it, and not by staying out.
The loving home you desire would be gotten if you invest the time you have at home. The life you desire can also be achieved if you invest the time you have wisely. *Money really can't give you what time can.*
If you desire to be successful, then invest all you have wisely!!
Keep growing
